Alex - Senior 2015 - Tampa Bay Photographer
Meet Alex! She is a senior this year and I had the pleasure of taking her senior pictures during my last trip to Tampa. She is as beautiful inside as she is out! We headed out early in the morning to John Chestnut Park. Loved the beautiful dock there on Lake Tarpon!
Best wishes for your senior year Alex!

Savanna - {Lutz Senior Photographer}
I've known Savanna now for about six years now, ever since she became friends with my oldest daughter. Both are now seniors in high school and nearing graduation. Won't dwell on that too much as the thought of my baby heading off to college just gets the tears going...uh uh...getting misty....
Anyway, Savanna needed a full length photo of herself for some upcoming college applications and I had been itching to shoot by these hay bales that I pass near my house almost daily. Thus the following images were created. It was a really quick session since we had a very specific photograph we were wanting to achieve. The weather cooperated with a wonderfully overcast sky throwing off the best light. I think she looks beautiful and I will definitely shoot here again!

Macro Monday - {Tampa Bay Photographer}
As inspiration would have it, my youngest of two daughters turned 15 today - Monday, July 2nd. So what better Macro Monday topic than Casey! When she was born 15 years ago newborn photography wasn't where it's at today. I often find myself thinking about not capturing the details of both my daughters when I photograph a newborn now. They are details that change so quickly and I wish I had them.
I figured, I'd capture the details now at 15. Why not. We are always changing, maybe not as quickly, but changing none the less and I'm sure I will want a reminder of those little things like how her eyes can vary from gray to blue to green and somewhere in between depending on what she's wearing or her mood; her silly pucker faces, her slender fingers and her smile (which I hope to see forever).
Fifteen brings driver's permits, harder high school homework, boys, messy rooms and many more things to make a mom go crazy, but even more to make my heart swell with love and pride in the beautiful young woman she is becoming. I love you Casey!

Loren - {Tampa Bay Maternity Photographer}
I know it's been a while since I sneaked a peek at a couple of Loren's mini maternity session, but I am finally getting to post the rest! Since this was a mini, we did studio style on white and gray paper and a couple of outfit changes. I'm really looking forward to the full session when she's further along and Daddy can join in!

Macro Monday - {Tampa Photographer}
Hello! Welcome back to Macro Monday. Today's macro is once again from my garden. We are growing a sunflower - yes, just one sunflower. The pictures below is the sunflower before the beautiful yellow leaves start to unfold. The outer green petals remind of an artichoke (one of my fave veggies - stuffed with bread crumbs and parmesan cheese, but I digress.)
I'm hoping to cook up some of the zucchini flowers featured last week. When we do, I will be sure and share the process as well as the results. Maybe I'll do Foodie Friday and feature recipes along with pictures...hmmm ;)

Savannah and Styles - {Pasco Pet Photographer}
Last week I met Savannah and Styles and they were two of the most awesome pooches I've ever met. Savannah was a total model and rocked her session complete with a sparkly necklace. Styles, the much older of the two, carries his age gracefully and was so sweet to work with. You'll catch a peek of Mr. Libby as well who must have sniffed out the fact that I have two cats at home and couldn't stay away! He managed a photo or two as well.
Without any further ado...

Abby Sneak - {Lutz First Communion Photographer}
Here's a sneak peek at my session with Abby. She is preparing for her First Communion. I've always wanted to shoot portraits for a First Communion and her mom was so wonderful to let Abby be my first! Speaking of Abby's mom, the dress, bible and rosary are all from her First Communion! How beautiful is that? More of Abby next week, but here she is for now...

L Family - {Carrollwood Family Photographer}
I got to shoot the L family last weekend. We shot at a totally new location and I LOVE it! You get a really big open field feel and a beautiful dock as well. Of course it doesn't hurt that they are one beautiful family! At the end of their session, Gary's sister and her family joined the party for some extended family photos.
