Ben's Bar Mitzvah Portraits - {Tampa's Mitzvah Photographer}

I had the privilege of photographing Ben's Bar Mitzvah celebration the weekend before at Congregation Beth AM .  This is such a special event for Ben and his family, that I was honored to be able to document the occasion.  Here are some family portraits taken in the morning before his Bar Mitzvah.  Later in the week, I'll share some party images from the celebration that followed!

Congratulations Ben!

Gift Certificates! - {Tampa Lifestyle Portrait Photographer}

I'm so excited!  I just got in my new gift certificates and they look beautiful!   These ornate cut 5x7 gift certificates are printed on pearl card stock, giving the gift card a rich, special feeling - along with the gold lined envelope!

If you're not sure what to give someone that "has everything," consider giving them a gift certificate for the amount of your choosing.  They can apply the gift certificate towards the session fee and/or print purchases.  Cards are good for one year from purchase, so there's no rush for your recipient to use it.  It will be a gift that will last for a lifetime...a gift of memories!

BEN Bar Mitzvah Sneak - {Tampa's Bar Mitzvah Photographer}

Congratulations to Ben celebrating his Bar Mitzvah last weekend.  We took family portraits in the morning and then off to Maggiano's for a P-A-R-T-Y!   More pictures to come in the next week, but for now, here's one of Ben before the day's events.

BEN - {Tampa Bar Mitzvah Photographer}

What a great day today!  I was honored to be asked to shoot Ben's Bar Mitzvah party this afternoon.   I will share photos from the day's event in the next week, but for now I get to share his portrait I did a couple of weeks ago for his sign in board.

Congratulations Ben!

ALLEN - {Lutz Senior Photographer}

I got to hang out with Allen in Ybor City for his high school senior portraits.  He was a natural!  Great guy and I wish him well in life after college.

The many faces of Allen!

Oh What a Web - {Tampa Bay Nature Photographer}

You know I love my macro lens!  Well so does my husband.  He was working out in the garage when he spotted this black widow spider living in a corner hole by the garage door and immediately came in and told me to grab my  macro.   This sucker was huge too.  We found one a number of years ago in a previous home that was teeny, but same red hourglass mark on it's belly.

Unfortunately, my husband also found a roach in the garage - so he became a sacrifice to the black widow (hey he was going to die anyway - just not a boot!).  While I do love to be able to see these small things so close up - not gonna lie - I gagged a little editing the spider/roach shots.   You've been warned!  Scroll down with caution!

Something a little surreal about this one and how they are suspended in the web.

Amazing the details on this small but deadly creature.
I was disturbing the spider, so she retreated back to the hole.

Allen Sneak - {Lutz's High School Senior Photographer}

I got to hang out with Allen yesterday in Ybor City for his high school senior portraits.    What a great guy!  And so easy going.  I have to say that it wasn't a surprise, since I've known Allen now for a couple of years.  He was the one of the captains of the high school's swim team - same team for which my daughters swim.

Here's a sneak from that session and there will be more to come later this week ~
