Macro Monday - {Tampa Bay Photographer}

As inspiration would have it, my youngest of two daughters turned 15 today - Monday, July 2nd.  So what better Macro Monday topic than Casey!   When she was born 15 years ago newborn photography wasn't where it's at today.   I often find myself thinking about not capturing the details of both my daughters when I photograph a newborn now.  They are details that change so quickly and I wish I had them.

I figured, I'd capture the details now at 15.  Why not.  We are always changing, maybe not as quickly, but changing none the less and I'm sure I will want a reminder of those little things like how her eyes can vary from gray to blue to green and somewhere in between depending on what she's wearing or her mood;  her silly pucker faces, her slender fingers and her smile (which I hope to see forever).

Fifteen brings driver's permits, harder high school homework, boys, messy rooms and many more things to make a mom go crazy, but even more to make my heart swell with love and pride in the beautiful young woman she is becoming.  I love you Casey!

Abby Sneak - {Lutz First Communion Photographer}

Here's a sneak peek at my session with Abby.  She is preparing for her First Communion.  I've always wanted to shoot portraits for a First Communion and her mom was so wonderful to let Abby be my first!  Speaking of Abby's mom, the dress, bible and rosary are all from her First Communion!  How beautiful is that?   More of Abby next week, but here she is for now...

A Family - {Lutz Family Photographer}

I was so happy to be able to photograph the A-Family this past weekend.   I have to thank Rose for suggesting this barn nearby (another new location - yeah!).  Not only was it a great rustic backdrop for a family of men (with the exception of Mom), there was a gorgeous gravel road surrounded by Florida pine and scrub leading back to the owner's residence.  What a great quiet and secluded feeling spot.   From there, we took the session back to the A-Family home.  I want to be adopted!  The back yard dock was unbelievable!  The view, the construction, everything.  Of course I'm not surprised.  You've seen what Rose can do with a location here before.  This is THE Rose of A & E Events.  If you ever need an event planner/decorator, she's your person!  Ok...on to the pictures...

Brothers

This is that gravel road I was talking about.  I would totally love to live back there!

At the risk of embarrassing these guys, I have to say not only are these three handsome young brothers, but they are also three of the most respectful and well behaved young men I've met.  Mom and Dad are surely proud.

Samantha - {Tampa Bay Bat Mitzvah Photographer}

Meet Samantha!   I have the honor of shooting her Bar Mitzvah later this month and I got the chance to meet her Saturday for a short portrait session in advance of the big day.  She's a beautiful young lady and I was so happy to meet her.   Here are a few of my favorite shots.   :)

Hello - {Tampa Bay Corporate Head Shot Photographer}

Any longer, it's pretty tough to have a business without having a presence on the internet.  Just like everyone else, if I am looking for something or a service, I look it up on line and click on the "About us" link to see a little more about the owners, especially if I'm looking for a service.  Including a photo of yourself acts as that initial meeting - or,  HELLO - between you and your potential customer/client.  I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing Beth earlier this month.  Here area  few pics from her shoot.
