Macro Monday - {Tampa's Nature Photographer}

Today's Macro Monday blog comes to you from some place other than my own yard!  I actually shot these back in December on my trip to the Everglades with my husband for our 20th Anniversary.  Unfortunately I've not had a chance to edit them, much to both our dismay.  I WILL do those soon, but in the meantime, at least this week's blog will help get a few of them processed.

With that said, today's blog brings you some dragonflies, doing what you don't usually see, at least I've never seen it.  Dragonflies, well, uhh, making more dragonflies!  We were hiking a trail in Fakahatchee Strand State Park out to this lake - which was an adventure in and of itself - when my husband spotted the two love birds, er dragonflies.  I didn't have my macro on my camera and I wasn't sure how long an event such as this lasts, so I made due with the 70-200 that was on my camera to get these.

  4. Very nice. Dragonflies are hard to catch. I bet this is the one thing they stay still for, at least for a few seconds.
